The Military Family Keepsake Journal series was created for one reason: to give the mothers, spouses, and partners standing on the home-front side of a military family’s journey something that didn’t quite exist before, a single place that holds both the practical facts of military life and room to feel everything that comes with it.
It grew out of a simple observation: most of what’s written for military families is either a dry checklist of regulations, or a purely sentimental keepsake with nowhere to put the facts that actually matter, when the first phone call is likely to come, what training actually involves, how rank structure works, what leave really means, what to do if it doesn’t work out. Families deserve both in one place, written with equal care.
The series includes one edition for every branch of the U.S. Armed Forces: the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard, each one researched and written specifically for that branch’s own culture, terminology, and training pipeline, so no family has to make do with generic advice that doesn’t quite fit their reality.
Whatever stage of this journey you’re in, welcome. These journals are meant to be filled in, marked up, cried into, and kept.
